As we are learning to live with the reality that COVID-19 is not going away (for possibly a long time), we need to change the way we work for now. We need to ensure that we practice being COVID-19 secure whenever we or a contractor must visit your home.
Here's how we are doing this:
- PROPERTY INSPECTIONS
We are now booking property inspections back in as usual, our inspections contractor has assured us that they are performing Covid SAFE inspections. They have demonstrated this to us, and we are satisfied with the practices they have put in place. If however you feel uncomfortable with having the inspection done at this time (or feel you are high risk), don't hesitate to contact us regarding this and we will re-schedule the inspection.
- PROPERTY MAINTENANCE
We are now booking non-essential maintenance back in as usual. As always however, if you are not comfortable with our contractors entering your home at this time, we can re-schedule the maintenance for a later date.
- GAS AND ELECTRICAL SAFETY CHECKS
Gas and Electrical safety checks fall under ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE. We have a legal obligation to carry out these checks and ensure your home is safe. These will be scheduled in the usual way, but we will ensure the contractor sent to your home will practice COVID-19 safety rules.
If you feel you are a high risk or vulnerable person, please let us know when we call to book the gas or electrical safety check. We can then discuss a possible solution that you are comfortable with.
